4/8/22: Play Ball!

Troop 829 was proud to be part of 4 County Little League's Opening Day at Russell Windsor Field!  We performed their opening flag ceremony, and we wish the teams success in their 2022 season.

3/18/22: Great weekend for a Campout

Troop 829 camped at Broad Creek Scout Reservation. We went on a hike and had some great food cooked outdoors.

3/13/22: Scouting for Food

Snow did not stop our troop from participating in our first door to door Scouting for Food collection, benefiting the Mount Airy Net.  We collected over 1716 lbs. of food in the neighborhoods we canvased and want to thank everyone for their support!

2/6/22: Scout Sunday

On February 6th, 2022, Scouts from both Troop 829B and 829G assisted in leading a church service at St. James Episcopal Church. This is a nationwide event held to commemorate the anniversary of  Scouting in the United States.

1/1/22: First Day Hike

On January 1, members of Troop 829B and 829G hiked the Compton Gap to the Ed Garvey Shelter and back for 7.5 miles. This is a troop tradition and supports a nationwide state park program to get out and hike on the first day of the year.
