At Troop 829, adventure meets opportunity. We focus on having fun, building leadership, mastering scouting skills, and giving back through service. Our meetings are designed around what each Scout needs most—whether that’s advancing in rank, working toward merit badges, or discovering new interests. Every meeting features a different theme, so there’s always something new to explore.

We offer a wide variety of hands-on activities that challenge and inspire Scouts of all experience levels. From tying knots, cooking, fire building, and first aid to hiking local trails and heading out on campouts, Scouts are always learning by doing.

Leadership is at the heart of everything we do. Scouts are guided step-by-step as they develop confidence, responsibility, and decision-making skills. As they grow, they’re given more opportunities to lead—helping them become strong leaders not just in Scouting, but in life.

Meetings also include fun, high-energy games and friendly competitions between patrols or individuals, all for the ultimate prize: bragging rights for the night!
